How I got here
Started in design and tech

Joined a Silicon Valley venture builder
I joined Mach49, a Silicon Valley venture builder. I built ventures inside Goodyear, TDK, Schüco, Airbus, Shell, and Anglo American. Ran 200+ customer discovery interviews across 6 continents.
Co-founded an AI company. Got a YC interview. It failed.
Tarka.ai. We reached revenue. Got customers — Ecotone, troupe.ai, Atlas. But fighting LinkedIn’s ecosystem was a battle we couldn’t win. This is where my founder empathy was forged.

My name is Aljoscha, but everyone calls me AJ. I work with US and European clients across both time zones, and speak English and German natively.
I work best when I'm embedded in your team — not delivering reports from the outside. I'll join your standups, pair with your engineers, talk to your customers, and push back when the roadmap doesn't add up.
Outside of work, you'll find me sailing on my catamaran. It's where I do my best thinking and where I learned that the simplest solution is usually the right one.
